In this course you get to throw on the wheel and also try different hand-building techniques such as coiling, slab building and pinching.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eEvery participant has access to their own pottery wheel throughout the course.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThe course fee includes 3 kg of clay; after that you can buy more clay for SEK 70 per kg. On the evening course you can try throwing different kinds of pieces such as teacups, candle holders and bowls, and the teacher will go through the techniques for each.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSession 1\u003c\/strong\u003e – Introduction to wheel throwing, centring on the wheel, and studio etiquette.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSession 2\u003c\/strong\u003e – Trimming, decorating, handles and signing. Decorating with underglazes and colour slips.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSessions 3–4\u003c\/strong\u003e – Practising all of these steps, in the group and with individual guidance. You are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of payment under the Swedish right of withdrawal.
