Evening course
Tuesday evenings 18:00-21:00 - 7 occasions of 3 hours starting September 3rd. Break on 15 October. The last class is October 22nd.

Evening course in wheel throwing is suitable for both beginners and those who have taken a course before and want to develop further. The focus is on throwing on the wheel in this evening course.
The course fee includes 3 kg of clay, after that you can buy more clay for 60SEK per kg. All our glazes/ engobes are included and we burn what you have created for you so that after completing the course you can go home with your own made works.
We offer coffee and tea.
During the course, there will be a demonstrations by the teacher, as well as individual guidance. In the evening course, there is the opportunity to try turning different kinds of works such as teacups, candlesticks, bowls, and the teacher will go through the techniques for these different type of works.
Session 1 – Overview of throwing on the wheel, centering on the turning plate.
Session 2 – The clay is now leather hard and now you can do decoration, add handles, signing underneath. Decoration with underglazes and engobes.
Session 3-5 Practice of all these elements, in a group as well as with individual guidance. You will also get to try hand building techniques such as how to coil, roll, and thumb with clay if instead of turning if you want to try building something.
Session 6 – Practice turning on the wheel. Since next session is the last, and the time to glaze. The items you make the last time won't be able to be trimmed. So you can practice turning on the wheel, or hand build something.
Session 7 – Glazing of all your work
About 2 weeks after completing the course, you can pick up your finished works.
Cancellation
You are registered for your place only when it has been paid for. You have a full refund of 14 days according to the Right of Cancellation Act, from the time the payment was made. After this, a cancellation fee of SEK 500 / place is added if you cancel after these 14 days.
If you cancel 3-7 days before the start of the course, 50% of the course fee will be refunded, and if you cancel less than 3 days before the start of the course, only 25% of the fee will be refunded.
If we succeed in getting someone on the queue for a course to take your place, you only pay the cancellation fee of SEK 500.
In the event of a canceled course on our part, the full course fee will be refunded.
