THE CERAMICS
KERAMIKEN workshop & showroom is your local ceramics workshop at Mariatorget, Stockholm.
Here you can take a course in ceramics for all levels or become a member and rent space in our workshop.
We also have a showroom with beautiful creations from our full-time ceramicists that you can come by and look at and of course buy if you want. Make an appointment with us first.
Rent space
If you are independent in the various stages of ceramic creation, you can become a member and rent space with us. You can both build and turn with us.
Then you subscribe to a different number of hours depending on the size, which you then book when it suits you during the week.
There are also a few workshop places further back in the room for those who have more experience and want to be able to attend full-time, even when a course is in progress.
Take the course!
Is this your first time even touching clay? Or have you been at it for a while and want to develop? Check out our courses!
Showroom
KERAMIKEN also has a showroom with beautiful creations from our ceramicists. Here you can buy something for yourself or maybe a gift? Make an appointment with us before you come by. We only take swish!
The Workshop of My Dreams
"As a child, I did ceramics for a couple of years at the midsummer farm. Mainly because mum liked ceramics a lot. I think she thought it would suit a very sprightly girl with a lot of running in her legs, to work with her hands. She was absolutely right. That's why it was very nice as an adult to find back to something I thought I had "forgotten". The memory was still in the hands after all these years. After a weekend course I was hooked.
After several years of ceramics courses in Stockholm and Uppsala, and then making ceramics with others, I decided to dare to invest and open my own ceramics workshop. It took time to find the right place, but finally it was there on Maria Prästgårdsgata by Mariatorget!
THE CERAMICS
I want to create a surface that, in addition to creative creation, also becomes a social meeting place. A workshop to meet others with the same interest in ceramics and to be part of a larger context. A place to be inspired, learn, relax, disconnect. Share ideas and come up with ideas that we try (and succeed or fail) together. Courses for those who are new or those who want to develop.
Places to rent both for the professional ceramicist and the hobby enthusiast. A Showroom where you can be inspired by other people's crafts or maybe buy a nice gift.
I am incredibly happy to finally realize my dream workshop and I know my mother would have been extremely proud."
