Stoneware Lidded Jar, Copper Green – Large, 12 cm

A large lidded jar with a matte copper-green glaze, in a speckled stoneware clay whose texture shows beautifully through the glaze, which shifts in a matte green-black tone. The lid has a fully matte black knob that looks like a piece of charred wood (“driftwood”) – the same wood-inspired expression that runs through the whole series.

The jar is 12 cm tall (16 cm to the top of the knob), 10 cm in diameter at its widest, with an inner diameter of 8 cm. A decorative storage jar, perfect for jewellery or small things – not food safe, but dishwasher safe.

All our pieces are handmade and hand-glazed. This means variations in clay and glaze can occur – and that is part of the charm of handmade work: nothing is completely “perfect”, but everything is unique.
