Stoneware Carafe/Jug with Handle – Carved Band in Purple/Red/Orange

A beautiful wheel-thrown jug with a handle in speckled stoneware clay. Around the waist runs a decorative band in purple, red and orange, with a beautiful carved zigzag pattern where the clay peeks through. The rest of the jug has a glossy, transparent glaze that lets the speckled clay show.

Perfect for serving wine or water, or for holding oil. Dishwasher and microwave safe.

All our pieces are handmade and hand-glazed. This means variations in clay and glaze can occur – and that is part of the charm of handmade work: nothing is completely “perfect”, but everything is unique.
