Stoneware Lidded Jar, Wood-Inspired – Small, 6 cm

A small lidded jar in coarse, warm stoneware clay with dark spots of iron oxide. The lid has a fully matte black knob that looks like a piece of charred wood – a wood-inspired expression that runs through the whole series.

The jar measures 6 cm in diameter and is approx. 7 cm tall, 10 cm to the top of the knob. The inside (without the lid) is 4.5 cm deep. A decorative storage jar, perfect for jewellery or small things.

All our pieces are handmade and hand-glazed. This means variations in clay and glaze can occur – and that is part of the charm of handmade work: nothing is completely “perfect”, but everything is unique.
