Stoneware Lidded Jar, Matte Black, Large – 14 cm

A larger lidded jar with a fully matte black glaze, and the same lovely wood-inspired knob on top that looks like a piece of charred wood (“driftwood”). The surface has a few small, shallow pinholes on the side – barely noticeable and part of the handmade character.

The jar is 14 cm tall (18.5 cm to the top of the knob), 9.5 cm wide at its widest, with an inner diameter of 7 cm. A decorative storage jar – not food safe.

All our pieces are handmade and hand-glazed. This means variations in clay and glaze can occur – and that is part of the charm of handmade work: nothing is completely “perfect”, but everything is unique. If a piece has a larger variation that particularly stands out, we describe it in the description above.
