Mug without Handle in Frosty Glaze

A wheel-thrown mug without a handle in a beautiful dark red stoneware clay. The glaze settles like snow and frost over the clay – pale, speckled areas meeting a deep reddish-brown tone with fine crackle, shifting beautifully from mug to mug. At the bottom, a band of clay is left raw, so the warm red colour shows. Perfect for coffee or tea.

Dishwasher and microwave safe.

All our pieces are handmade and hand-glazed. This means variations in clay and glaze can occur – and that is part of the charm of handmade work: nothing is completely “perfect”, but everything is unique. If a piece has a larger variation that particularly stands out, we describe it in the description above.
