Intro to Wheel Throwing at KERAMIKEN – Cosy Morning Session

When: 23 January – morning

Time: 10:00–13:00. Please arrive 15 minutes early to change. The three hours include tidying up around your place during the last 15 minutes.

Where: KERAMIKEN Studio, Maria Prästgårdsgata 25

Welcome to a three-hour Intro to Wheel Throwing session, guided by our skilled teacher Malva B. What could be cosier than a morning at the wheel, followed perhaps by a lovely brunch nearby (just an idea)?

We provide

  • A teacher who teaches and guides you throughout the 3 hours.
  • 1 kg of clay is included; you can buy more for SEK 70 per kg.
  • You get to keep one piece, which we bisque fire and glaze in the glaze you choose together with the teacher. If you like, you can add more pieces, up to 2 per person, for an extra SEK 250 per piece, paid by Swish on site.
  • Coffee, tea, some snacks and a wonderfully cosy atmosphere.

No previous experience is needed – all levels are welcome. Minimum age 16, or 14 if accompanied by a responsible adult.

After about 4–6 weeks we will get in touch with suggested times when you can come by and collect your finished pieces.

Cancellation

Your place is only booked once it has been paid for. You are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of payment under the Swedish right of withdrawal. After these 14 days, a cancellation fee of SEK 500 per place applies.
If you cancel 3–7 days before the session, 50% of the fee is refunded; if you cancel less than 3 days before the session, only 25% of the fee is refunded.
If we manage to fill your place with someone from the waiting list, you only pay the cancellation fee of SEK 500.
If we have to cancel the session, the full fee will be refunded.
