Stoneware Serving Bowl, Unglazed Exterior – White/Grey/Light Blue Glaze

A large, wheel-thrown serving bowl in light stoneware clay with a beautiful conical shape resting on a small foot. The outside and the narrow rim are left raw, so the natural warmth of the clay shows. The inside has a glossy glaze in white, grey and light blue that formed a beautiful, flowing pattern during firing – fine lines flowing out from a speckled centre towards the rim. Each bowl is unique.

Food safe, and dishwasher and microwave safe.

All our pieces are handmade and hand-glazed. This means variations in clay and glaze can occur – and that is part of the charm of handmade work: nothing is completely “perfect”, but everything is unique. If a piece has a larger variation that particularly stands out, we describe it in the description above.
