Blue Bowl with Unglazed Exterior, Beautiful Blue Glaze Inside, 23 cm Diameter

A large stoneware serving bowl with lava specks, raw and unglazed on the outside and glazed on the inside with a blue glaze that shifts beautifully towards black. The bowl measures 23 cm in diameter at the top and 8 cm in height.

As with all handmade ware, there are small variations: a couple of pinholes in the glaze, and some faint traces of blue glaze left in the unglazed clay on the outside after wiping. This does not affect how it works, but we want to be honest about it.

All our pieces are handmade and hand-glazed. This means variations in clay and glaze can occur – and that is part of the charm of handmade work: nothing is completely “perfect”, but everything is unique. If a piece has a larger variation that particularly stands out, we describe it in the description above.
