Bowl with Unglazed Exterior, Beautiful Running Glaze Inside, 19.5 cm Diameter

A bowl in warm, light-brown stoneware clay that is left untreated on the outside, with thin, delicate edges. The inside has a beautiful brushed glaze that has run in shades of brown and light blue – a pattern reminiscent of a bird’s egg.

The bowl measures 19.5 cm in diameter and 7.8 cm in height.

Food safe and dishwasher safe.

Inside the bowl there is a small pinhole in the glaze, but it is barely visible in the marbled pattern.

All our pieces are handmade and hand-glazed. This means variations in clay and glaze can occur – and that is part of the charm of handmade work: nothing is completely “perfect”, but everything is unique. If a piece has a larger variation that particularly stands out, we describe it in the description above.
