Beetle, Ceramic Trivet/Wall Plaque – Pine Green

A decorative ceramic beetle, made as a trivet or a small wall plaque, with a richly detailed relief pattern of wings and plant tendrils. Handmade in mixed clay/stoneware with a beautiful pine-green glaze, and framed in a green wooden frame.

The plaque is completely flat on the back. If you would like to hang it as a picture, you can easily glue on a picture hanger yourself.

As each beetle is handmade and hand-glazed, there are small variations in pattern and glaze from one piece to the next – that is part of the charm of handmade work.

All our pieces are handmade and hand-glazed. This means variations in clay and glaze can occur – and that is part of the charm of handmade work: nothing is completely “perfect”, but everything is unique. If a piece has a larger variation that particularly stands out, we describe it in the description above.
