Porcelain Jewellery Dish, Nerikomi – Shell Pattern

A porcelain jewellery dish, made using the nerikomi technique, where differently coloured pieces of clay are layered together and sliced so that the pattern runs right through the piece – a patient technique that gives each piece a unique pattern. This dish has a beautiful swirling pattern reminiscent of a seashell, under a clear glaze.

It is food safe and dishwasher safe.

All our pieces are handmade and hand-glazed. This means variations in clay and glaze can occur – and that is part of the charm of handmade work: nothing is completely “perfect”, but everything is unique.
