Three-Legged Porcelain Jewellery Bowl, Nerikomi – Blue-Striped

An oval jewellery bowl with three small legs, made in porcelain clay with coloured clay and a transparent glaze. Made using the nerikomi technique, where differently coloured pieces of clay are layered together and sliced so that the pattern runs right through the piece – a patient technique that gives each piece a unique pattern.

The bowl measures 11 cm in width and 3.7 cm in height, and is perfect for jewellery or small things.

Food safe and dishwasher safe.

All our pieces are handmade and hand-glazed. This means variations in clay and glaze can occur – and that is part of the charm of handmade work: nothing is completely “perfect”, but everything is unique.
